SIP Trunking

The GlobalTouch Telecom SIP Trunking solution enables resellers to readily support business customers ranging from the small office to large enterprises. With our SIP Trunking solution, we enable calls to originate on one network and terminate without a TDM middleman. The advantage of this is that these calls are treated as “on net” and thus are completed between the parties as part of their “on net” bundled usage agreements. This lets us empower our resellers with an even stronger case for VoIP as well as better profit margins for all.  Deploy SIP Trunking in combination with an IP PBX or by utilizing your customer’s legacy phone equipment.  This combination gives your customer significant savings over POTs lines.

Our SIP Trunking solution is unique for two important reasons. 1) All our technology is already SIP based, which facilitates VoIP network peering, and 2) our Integrated Back Office GUI solves that problem of diverse billing and back office systems, LNP, 911.

VoIP delivery today comes from many separate providers with different infrastructures and systems. As such, they can communicate between each other by adopting a SIP standard protocol in order to complete VoIP calls between users on disparate networks but this often requires a good deal of interconnection testing between their independent softswitches and different end user SIP Phones and ATAs. Often it is the TDM network connected to separate VoIP networks that provide the enabling technology to move calls between them.

Using SIP as a standard protocol facilitates VoIP network SIP Trunking. Next is the enormous task of integrating the customers. Different billing and back office systems compounded by Local Number Portability, 911, and “on net to off net” calling creates a major challenge for creating a VoIP, industry wide and ultimately worldwide SIP Trunking capability that every VoIP provider can subscribe to and interconnect through. This evolution is beginning two-by-two with providers SIP Trunking with each other and offering “on net” calling to their customers.

GlobalTouch Telecom offers a highly competent technical and operational capability to enable SIP Trunking between its ASP Reseller customers and other VoIP networks because 100% of the technology that drives their businesses has been developed by and is operated by GTT employees. We recognize the direction the industry is taking regarding SIP Trunking and while we cannot guarantee to SIP Trunk with any particular other VoIP provider, we do have the ability to control all the elements on our side of the equation.

Device Trunk Service or Device Line Trunking
is where all calls come into or go out from a Device capable of registering each single line with our Trunking application.  The Device can be a physical one, such as a multi-port FXS Gateway or ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) that is installed between the customer’s PBX and their LAN.  The ATA / Gateway has a specific number of ports or lines.  Or the Device can be a virtual one such as an Asterisk PBX or other IP-capable application that also has a specific number of lines and can register them individually.
Overflow voicemail on a Trunk Group level is also offered, where if all the lines in a given Group are in use, a new inbound call goes to a generic voicemail announcement and is then sent as an MP3 attachment to a designated email address.  911 Emergency Calling is also supported on the Device Line Trunking Service.

Address Trunk Service is where all calls come into or go out from a specific IP Address or Internet Domain.  Here, we have no idea what device or application the calls are coming from or to, and simply limit the number of maximum simultaneous inbound and outbound calls from within the Softswitch itself.
